SABLO is a new tableware from Blomus, made of stoneware shaped at extremely high temperatures. This gives the tableware a high durability and a slight roughness, in combination with soft shapes and rounded edges. The tableware is partially glazed and the design is reminiscent of water flowing over sand. Frederike Martens is responsible for the design, which aims to encourage human interaction and conversation. She has taken her inspiration from natural materials such as sand, clay and water.
